I've been pushing the limits of my endurance my whole life. I've been called a UNcommon man for my relentless pursuit of doing something bigger than I (or most) could possibly imagine. As a soldier, a marathoner, ironman triathlete or hiker, nothing is extreme enough. Finish lines are great, but the true adventure is what it takes to get to the starting line.

Taper time? Crapo. I missed a week of workouts.... I haven't thought about tapering yet. Maybe in another week. I have to work out before I taper, right??
Damn...what the heck?? I did a 100 miler today, riding tomorrow and running 2hrs Monday..next weekend my coach has me doing 112mile race simulation ride...WTH???

Oh, you think the peak training was hard. Wait till you see and feel how hard it is to stay true to your taper. Well, it was the hardest part for me anyway. Best of luck Comm's, and like fe-lady said, this IS getting exciting.
