I've been pushing the limits of my endurance my whole life. I've been called a UNcommon man for my relentless pursuit of doing something bigger than I (or most) could possibly imagine. As a soldier, a marathoner, ironman triathlete or hiker, nothing is extreme enough. Finish lines are great, but the true adventure is what it takes to get to the starting line.

I'm jealous. That event was my first century ride... first thing I trained for and accomplished since peeling my butt off the couch. That was in 2002. I did it twice more, once pulling my friend Matt who refused to give up even though he was going thru chemo at the time. We were going 8mph toward the end... but we finished!
Gawd I love that event. Good memories all around. Cheers!
